    So HDD was mostly on the right side of the drive bays on the clone xt machines? I guess this because, on the underside are two more screw holes. An HDD have much more weight, so iam guessing the two extra holes on the bottom make the hdd secured better?

    Extra note. I see on the retroweb that FSB is 12.5Mhz. My boards using a 20.000Mhz crystal.. So probably these where for 10 Mhz cpus too.

    My XT is not a IBM, but a clone of it.. The front case badge says: XPC by XOR. Dont know what brand XOR is. Never heard of them. Yeah i was also thinking of make such new brackets.. There came only one original with this case. And the case came local from someone else.
