Old monitor Acerview 11vga

Ok after your advice I checked that area, using magnifier glasses and found some cracks in the solder in a couple of components, applied flux and re-soldered them. these are the results:

And I cannot describe the feeling of watching that screen alive again!

Hugo Holden, Bburley and Andy, thank you so much, this has been an amazing process you guys took the time to orient me into fixing this old monitor and I really appreciate it. If there is anything I can do for you guys just tell me.

Not sure if there is anything I should do before putting all in its place.
Once more thank you guys you are amazing!

Wonderful!

Looks like it could just use a degauss, and maybe a focus adjustment, but great to see a success. It's hard to tell if the sides are bowed out, or if that's from the camera. If the sides aren't straight, then you should be able to fix that with the pincushion control.

Roger, did the degaussing, and the borders are straight. They dont fill all the screen, but i guess that is how it was maybe?

Thanks once more
